Welcome Home to the Oni Mansion

New web3 crypto gaming company Yomi Games has unveiled their first free-to-play game for the metaverse. 

The game runs by connecting with various NFT franchises to create a collaborative community. Holders of Oni Squad, Curious Addys, Lazy Lions, and Jungle Freaks will be given access to play. 

The Oni Mansion game is the first in the 2022 series.

To ensure the free-to-play model was true to users, $MATIC was airdropped to all eligible players to cover the gas fees. 

The game’s objective is to participate in social missions where they visit other player’s mansions and leave kind messages. Completing missions will allow players to earn tokens that will give them the ability to upgrade their mansions. 

The game will be live for 28 days and at the end of the 28 day interval, players will have the chance to mint their mansions as NFTs.

The popular card game TacoCat is taking their latest venture steps into the NFT space. They are partnering with Phantasma, a “blockchain for Smart NFTs, Gaming, and dApps that is fast, secure, and decentralized” to bring in Smart NFT technology into the TacoCat franchise with their new game Wildcard. 

Wildcard is a crypto collectible. The inclusion of the Phantasma technology will allow for the game to be more dynamic. Once the two are integrated, Wildcard will be placed on Phantasma’s dApp. This will enable the game to work on the blockchain system.
