GM Ser,
Employees at Ubisoft are Letting Management Have It
Though fans and now apparently employees alike are not fans of Ubisoft’s NFT integration, the company seems to still be going through with their blockchain technology plans.
When news of their blockchain strategy broke on the company’s internal message board, the announcement was flooded with negative comments by the company’s very own.
Here are some internal comments from that day:
“Are we competing with EA for the ‘Most hated Game Studio by the public’ title? Because this is how you do it.”
“I think the kids call this entire comment section ‘being ratioed… Seriously, our confidence in management was already shaken by the handling of harassment cases, and now this?”
“You know what else makes a lot of money? Making fun spectacular groundbreaking blockbusters. Why don’t we focus on that instead?”
It remains unclear whether or not the internal criticism will have a lasting effect on the French big wigs and if it’ll change the course of the company’s actions.
In a move that is being hailed as a game changer for the entertainment industry, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the launch of the WB Movieverse with The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Version) Web3 Movie Experience NFT. This groundbreaking new release will allow fans to engage with the film in ways never before possible!
