Billboard is celebrating women in music, and what better way to commemorate women by partnering with popular NFT project World of Women.
At first, WoW pieces were going for $200. Now, they sell for thousands with the likes of celebrities like Reese Witherspoon getting in on the action.
Billboard has teamed up with project artist Yam Karkai for the yearly Women in Music issues of the magazine to make three covers of women in the music industry. First up is Christina Aguilera, followed by Madonna and Mariah Carey.
The cover art will be auctioned off as their own NFTs on the FTX marketplace in March. The purchasers of the NFT will be offered a flight to LA to walk the red carpet at the Women in Music celebration.
