GM Ser,
12 Years Old and Sitting on a Crypto Fortune
Benyamin Ahmed, a preteen schoolboy has amassed nearly $1M in NFT sales of his collection “Weird Wales.” He’s such an NFT expert, he’s already given a lecture about them at Oxford to boot.
Ahmed learned to code at only five years old from his father. Safe to say he’s been hooked ever since.
Ahmed rolled out his NFT collection summer of 2021 and was selling for $60 apiece at first. Eventually, the demand rose and at its pique, the collection was around $20k for some pieces.
If you’re wondering if the kid genius has cashed out for a bit of spending fun, not so. Ahmed has said he is leaving his fortune where it’s at until he comes up with a business idea to use the funds on. Not to mention, Ahmed doesn’t even have a bank account yet.
The young businessman is currently working on a project with Barclay’s former head of digital product Ying Cao.
If nothing else, at least he’s got his ticket to uni.
